Cost range: See below
Limitations Addressed by Product: Back
These Walk-Behind Gas-Powered Vegetable Transplanters are designed to accommodate various crop seedlings (leafy veggies, herbs, root crops), transplant systems (cell trays, plastic pots) and field conditions (wet, soft, slopes, ridges). Generally standard features include height- and depth-adjusting levers, auto-stop when planting clutch turned off, oil pressuring horizontal control, roller-type surface sensors, and automatic open/close seedling holder so as not to remove seedlings or plastic mulch. The source below is (at present) the sole distributor of the walk-behinds currently available: Yanmar (five models), Kubota (two models), and Minoru (one model).
